Hello, future chemists and biochemists!
The Chemika Student Association, for the Chemistry & Biochemistry programs, is excited to welcome you to Leuven. To help first-year students settle in smoothly, we organize an annual first-year midweek (EMW) or weekend. This event is specifically for new students in Chemistry and Biochemistry & Biotechnology (both incoming freshmen and transfer students are welcome!). This three-day event is similar to a youth group weekend and is packed with fun activities so there’s never a dull moment. Making new friends is the main focus, so you won’t be on your own on your first day! You’ll also get plenty of tips from upperclassmen on exactly how student life works.
This midweek/weekend event will take place from September 12 through 14, 2026, at Scouts & Gidsen Sint-Kwinten Linden (Wolvendreef 3, 3210 Lubbeek).
